Chief Jordan "Donny" joined Central Bell County Fire and Rescue (CBCFR) in 2013, with years of fire service under his belt, he is a capable fireman, leader, and the glue to our family here at CBCFR. Not all hero’s wear capes, and that statement resonates deeply with Chief Jordan.

Asst Chief Guthrie has been a part of CBCFR on and off for over 20 years. AC Guthrie is a great asset to our organization providing insight, and support for members.

My favorite part about CBCFR is Eating shift dinners together and watching the crew jump into action when a call drops. To give back to the community with no monetary incentive

My favorite part about CBCFR Being part of a team and working together to help the people of Bell County. I Started as a fireman in NY in 2012, joined the Army in 2018 and was stationed here in Texas, and wanted to continue my fire service career.joined because

What I like the most is, the fact I can do what I’m passionate about, serve my community and do it all for absolutely no personal gain, benefit or monetary value.. absolutely free, with people who  share the exact same beliefs.

The reason I joined CBCFR is The family-esqe camaraderie, the opportunity to pursue my passion with others who have the same likeminded interest.

My favorite part of CBCFR is The home away from home that I have been able to create. The reason I joined is that It had always been a dream of mine to become a fire fighter. The opportunity presented itself to better myself and my community.

My favorite part of CBCFR is our firefighters, being able to work alongside a group of people who are in the same mission as myself. Dedicated to bettering the community, and willing to sacrifice their lives, time, and resources to provide world class emergency services. I joined because I am passionate about helping others. Initially, my impression was that CBCFR was a paid department. And I went in to apply as such. I was impressed with the quality of people, dedication, and commitment. So, I decided I’d be a part of that same mission. All of us at CBCFR are committed to helping our community and bettering our skills every day.

My Favorite Part of CBCFR is Being able to help the community that I live and gain more skill and knowledge on fighting fires. I joined to get the skills and experience necessary to become a certified firefighter and to help the community a whole.

My favorite part about CBCFR is the family bond we all share. If anyone needs anything, no matter when or what day, someone will be there. I joined because I wanted to help the community and give back to those who have supported and gave so much to us.

My favorite part of CBCFR is the bond we have and the camaraderie we share. I joined CBCFR because at the time I wasn’t making myself useful in my free time so joining gave me a better way of spending my down time.

My favorite part of CBCFR is the brotherhood and understanding among everyone in the department that we all care about each other as a family. I joined CBCFR so that I could better myself, not only as an individual, but as a member of the community that I’m a part of.

My favorite part is The brotherhood. Everyone always looks out for each other. Originally I joined as a Junior Firefighter looking to get more experience before starting my career but now that I am a paid first responder I choose to stay with CBCFR to help give back to the community and help invest in young learning minds like my mentors did for me.

My favorite part about being in CBCFR is how committed the department is to the community and how family oriented the department is. I joined CBCFR because i had a love for the fire service since a young age and had a handful of coworkers who told me nothing about good things about the department.
